WATERFALLS

I went for a day drive to Shuswap Lake Provincial Park, just outside of Chase, BC. I saw this waterfalls at a rest stop on the side of the road. I have been to this rest stop before and never noticed it. Waterfalls are pretty cool. They are mighty and dangerous. One slip or fall and it would be a pretty rough trip.

OLD TREE

I went for a day drive to Shuswap Lake Provincial Park, just outside of Chase, BC. Shuswap Lake Provincial Park has a lot of really old trees in it. Some of them are very tall too like the one in this picture. This tree is probably 150 years old or more and it is probably sixty feet tall or more.

SQUIRREL

I went for a day drive to Shuswap Lake Provincial Park, just outside of Chase, BC. I was watching a different squirrel in a tree just ahead of me and then I saw a shadow right beside me. I was standing about a foot away from this squirrel and didn’t hear it at all. If I didn’t see the shadow I wouldn’t have seen the squirrel.

PHEASANT

I was just coming out of the Niskonolith Provincial Park in Chase, BC and I saw this pheasant walking across the middle of the road. I have seen several pheasants before some in Ontario and some out here in BC but this is the first one I actually got a picture of.

CHASE, BC

I visited Chase, BC. This picture was taken on the winding mountainous road that takes you to the Niskonolith Provincial Park. This is over-looking the town of Chase. It is a very beautiful view.
